Sydney's New Ride

This afternoon, Sydney took her new tricycle for a test drive! For a while, I've been struggling with outdoor activities in the afternoon. Until Syd's playground is finished, we can't really hang out in the backyard (unless we're swimming) because I don't like being too close to the pool, and there wasn't much to do in the front yard. So, yesterday, we bought a tricycle. Daddy put it together in a snap this afternoon. It's nice because it has a handle that enables me to push her and steer until she gets the hang of it herself. Then, the handle comes off, and off she goes! Anyway, it was a huge success. She cried bloody murder when it was time to get off the bike. Hopefully, quitting time next time around won't be so traumatic.
