Dutch Wonderland

We recently visited the most fun, confusing amusement park ever. Syd and I went with Avery and Elyssa to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The place was awesome and fun because the girls could ride nearly every ride in the park. It was a little confusing because I'm not sure they have a strong understanding of their theme. The main entrance is a castle, so they had a lot of princesses and knights around the park. But they're in Lancaster, so there were also Mennonite tributes and random dairy cow sightings. Anyway, the girls had a blast. We went on many, many rides - some two or three times in a row. Syd rode her first roller coaster - and in the very front car, too! There were very few long lines, and we even got to see a couple shows. We stayed nearly all day. Right around 5:00 pm, we were trying to decide what to do next, when the skies opened and it started pouring rain - at which point, the park attendants started passing out tickets for free admission on another day! So - we'll definitely be back to re-live the magic that is Dutch Wonderland. Can't wait!

  1. That is a fantastic picture!!! Glad you guys had a good time...and you are right, their "theme" is a little odd.
